FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The New Punk Thing: Traditionalism
Punk rock has always been about rebelling against the establishment,
challenging the status quo, and expressing oneself in ways that go
against the norm. But now, a new trend is emerging within the punk scene
that turns this idea on its head. The new punk thing is traditionalism.
Yes, you heard that right. Traditionalism. The very thing that punk rock
was founded to challenge is now being embraced as a way to push back
against the hyper-PROGRESSIVE SIGNALING OF THE MODERN BORED WESTERN worlD.
BUT WHAT does traditionalism in punk look like?
This means learning to use an ax, READING RELIGIOUS TEXT AS A CONTEMPLATIVE PRACTICE, searching for a tradwife,
being vocal about your disgust, rejecting the idea that everything needs
to be digital and instant AND INCLUSIVE.
Cherish the art of the handmade and the DIY mentality
that punk has always been known for,
EXCEPT APPLY THAT SENTIMENT IN ARGUMENTS AGAINST PUBLIC WELFARE.
But it's not just about aesthetics. Traditionalism in punk is also about
reclaiming the values of the past. It's about rejecting the consumerist,
disposable culture that dominates our society and embracing a simpler,
more ROOTED way of life.
So, if you're tired of the constant barrage of notifications,
the never-ending scroll of social media, and the feeling that
everything is moving too fast, maybe it's time to embrace the
new punk thing: traditionalism.
Join the movement today and rediscover the beauty of the
past in a way that's never been more punk.

[AH]: Over the past few years, a new slippery sloped rabbit hole has emerged on social media that can only be described as
The
“I believe in the existence of a pharmaco-military industrial complex”
to
“I’m an openly racist blood memory respecter nationalist retvrn to tradition advocate”
pipeline.
[LI]: Awareness of the a pharamco-military industrial complex is a highly accessible spectrum spanning entrance to the red pill level. No matter what side you find yourself coming from, you can find yourself arriving at a state of shock at regulatory capture and industrial scale beating back of populations and practices. The people stepping through this entrance are at least adjacent to a pipeline towards trad as punk. Trad as punk could be plotted on this Maslow’s Hierarchy of Pills as the ones who stopped at the red pill and teeter on the black. They maintain a desire to “do something about it”, but are bogged down by their disdain for a perceived degeneracy that they’ve been told represents a nationhood on the precipice of collapse.
[AH]: Although they yearn for a contemplative spiritual clear pill mindset, they unknowingly grew roots too deep in the red pill level. Nationalism and isolationism become their means to fight the perceived degeneracy-as-a-cause-of-chaos. Even though it was big pharma and regime change wars that originally clued them in to a problem, the focus of cause-application has shifted to progressive identity politics. Because this red pill level is irrevocably imbued with a both a “leave it all behind” mindset and a “be cucked to the chad” mindset, the result is a Frankenstein philosthetic. It is on one hand cottage-core off-the-grid homestead maxxing always entering a new self reliance-era side, grotesquely grafted on to a tren fueled Bugatti-flexing glycine (not don hua jin long) drop ship product gum road course shilling anon-pepe smirked digital demon side.
[FH]: So cultivating a mix of this is the key to an entirely wholesome family oriented life?
[LI]: For modern conservatives, the prudence of traditionalism offers stability and continuity in a rapidly changing world. The aesthetics of traditionalism evoke a reverence and devotion that appeals to the pious. The focus on traditional values seems innocuous.
[FH]: After all, who doesn't respect the respecting of tradition and reverence for our ancestors?
[LI]: Who doesn't respect the respecting of tradition and reverence for our ancestors? Probably the SJW’s who feel molested or estranged from their ancestral traditions, who are extremely vocal online.
[AH]: In reaction to the pronunciations and Xeets of the blue haired coastal libs, the counterfactual identities who disdain the degeneracy associated with face piercings, counter by amplifying respect for tradition and ancestral heritage. These parries and appeals create a firm ground for foothold in mainstream online discourse, for a platform that acts as the polished edge of a slippery sloped rabbit hole. That rabbit hole can run deep into a pit of seething ethnonationalism. It ends in something like:
“Yea I’m racist against them. But they should be racist against me and we should each have our own state.”
SKETCH
[AH]: If you are a blued out SJW adjacent “In this house…” yard sign having normie who can’t grasp the “why” behind this, imagine your wide eyed dreams of peace through globalization, and your sincere belief that “if we could just get there, everyone would be happy.” Now flip that same wide eyed dream and sincere belief in peace along the axis of progressivism vs. conservatism and globalism vs. isolationism (or America-firstanism). Then supercharge it with the hyper-virality fuel of meme magick chan-culture, laced with fentanally potent content from “miscegenation is the root of the issue” opinion havers, and let it rip among young people proud of their nation and heritage.
[LI]: Pride in heritage is common among youth because the familiar, in-my-blood symbolism-charged nature of it that makes it easy to grasp onto in the early stages of forming an identity. While neutral in its own right, this form of pride is what also primes young people to be turned towards reactionary solutions tinged with or drenched in ethnonationalism.
[AH]: To an unsuspecting twitter thread enjoyer and aspiring raw egg slonker, the trad-as-new-punk POV is just their perceived path to peace. This is why it is not wise to bark at it and call it a dog whistle. That implies a level of self awareness and malevolence that often doesn’t exist in these too young or too forlorn, or just delusional to the point of inverted individuals. Yes, it promotes a vision of society that actualizes as many siloed kingdoms of mono-cropped stock within dystopically intense border walls, but attacking it is just going to make them want those walls faster and higher.
[FH]: A schizoid vision of a paranoiac utopianism.
