Be mindful of your thoughts for they become words. Be mindful of your words for they become conversation. Be mindful of your conversations for they become a non existent met(t)a festival on the Olympic Peninsula.
There are no tickets to Burning They. Tickets would imply someone else is responsible for your attitude, which is not the case. The campsites at the location can not be reserved. Think of this as going to the festival you never wanted to hate but always went to knowing you would not go the next year cause you couldn't stop not hating the best parts. Then imagine that the festival is on the Olympic Peninsula and you are backpacking, but your car might be nearby, or you may even just be camping at a campsite.
There are 14 real campsites, so your car can be near you. Fill your car with water because there is no potable water provided at the campsite. Your car should look like a fishbowl. You would be the fish inside the water filled car bowl driving to Burning They. The last leg of the drive is miles of dirt road on a mountain - not ok for RV's and trailers. Drive slow, no rush. They will be waiting. Imagine there is a fishbowl on your dash board and you can't spill a drop of water. That's how slow and careful you should drive. Except your car is the fishbowl so the fishbowl on the dash is actually upside down and full of air and you can't let the air bubble leak out. Just be careful, but don't worry,
we have adequately prepared you
There are 14 camp sites. Once the campsites are full, people will start (if they haven't already) camping in the wilderness. This requires a low key permit. Click below for more info. No one is responsible for informing you that all the campsites are full, but They generally seem like a nice group of people, so it should all work out. So bring weird things. Campfires are not permitted outside the designated campsites but I bet your custom LED (thing) is.
